आजी-नातं

आजी-नात्याच्या प्रेमाला
उपमा देणे अशक्य ठरते,
दोन एकत्रित जीव
वेगळे करणे शक्य नसते.


जीवनाच्या वळणावर निमित्तमात्र
एकत्रित यायचे कारण ठरते,
जन्मोजन्मीचा ऋणानुबंध
दोघींचं भावविश्वच बदलते.


जन्मदात्यापेक्षाही अतूट माया
आजीची अनमोल ठरते,
उत्तरार्धात बोबड्या बोलाने
जीवन अधिकच सुंदर वाटते.


थोडा रागोबा, थोडा रुसवा
बाळाचा ती सहन करते,
आदर्श संस्कार शिकवताना
बोट पकडून चालायला शिकवते.


बाळाच्या मागे दुडू दुडू धावताना
आजी सगळ्या वेदना विसरते,
मोरपिसाच्या देखाव्यात
ती भूतकाळात हरवून जाते.


क्षणापुरता तो सहवास, गोड आठवण
भावनिक बंधनात गुंतवून ठेवते,
बाळाची 'आज्जी' साद ऐकण्यासाठी 
आजी श्वास रोखून ठेवते.

I couldnot find any example to express the love that a grand-mother gives to her little grand-daughter.
After a while, it becomes impossible to seperate the two souls that have formed a deep bond.

Life sometimes brings them together for some moments, but it creates a unique the chemistry between them.
Their own worlds change & they discover a new meaning for their lives.

The grandma 'pampers' the little one like there is no end to the world, forgets her own pains to carry the little one on her shoulders all day long.
She gives so much 'love' that the child feels like the most special person in the world.

Where does grandma find so much energy, the new games, the new stories and all the treasures for this little one?
Now that she has got a new life, can they be seperated?

The 'special moments' spent with the grandma are one of the most precious gifts in life- the baby will keep these memories always in the heart. She will now look for the grandma in her mother's eyes.
The bond is made now- they are inseperable for life.
