आयुष्य असंही जगायचं असतं

स्वप्ने दुभंगली जातात
जीवनपथावर सत्याचे ओरखडे पडतात,
उमेदीने त्यांना जोडायचं असतं
आयुष्य असंही जगायचं असतं.

कालांतराने पापण्या रिक्त होतात
राहते फक्त आठवणींची गुंफण,
कधीतरी दवबिंदू टपकतात.
कुंपणातून बाहेर पडायचं असतं
आयुष्य असंही जगायचं असतं.

प्रवाहात एक प्रवासी मिळतो
अमृतरसतुल्य सर्वस्व ठरतो,
तनमन चरणी अर्पायचं असतं
आयुष्य असंही जगायचं असतं.

मार्ग काढत दिशा सापडते
खळगे लागतात, पायाला बोचतात,
पदक्रमण करताना पुढे पाहायचं असतं
क्षितीज गाठताना वेदनांना विसरायचं असतं.

आयुष्य असंही जगायचं असतं.

You will meet many nice people to share happy memories,
these are the ones who bring sunshine into your days.
Who hasnt seen the 'downs' in life, but time spent dwelling on these,
is a time wasted for no reason.
